Job Description: Senior Hybrid Network Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and IP routing.
- Implement and manage switching protocols, including VLAN, VTP, STP, HSRP, and trunk/access modes.
- Manage DNS solutions using Infoblox and AWS Route 53.
- Support and maintain firewalls (FortiGate, Checkpoint, Cisco ASA) to ensure robust network security.
- Configure and maintain F5 Load Balancers (LTM, BIG-IP) including backups and certificate renewals.
- Work with AWS, Azure, and GCP environments to configure VPCs, Transit Gateways, and ELBs.
- Implement cloud infrastructure automation using Python, Terraform, and Rundeck
- Utilize tools like SolarWinds, Fluke Networks, and NetBeez for proactive network monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Perform SNMP-based monitoring using OIDs.
- Follow ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
- Collaborate with teams using tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, and Confluence.
Technical Expertise:
- Intermediate proficiency in routing and switching protocols.
- Beginner-to-intermediate experience with security tools and F5 Load Balancers.
- Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms and automation.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
- Certifications (Preferred): ITIL Foundation, AWS/Azure/GCP Certifications, F5 Certified Administrator, CCNA/CCNP.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
