Electrical - Fire Alarm System Engineer Location: Noida Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in design and implementation of Fire alarm systems in an EPC context or specialized system vendor/manufacturer in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical , or industrial sectors. In-depth knowledge of Fire alarm system components, including control panels, detectors, and notification devices. Job Description: Reports to the Lead Engineer (LE) Design Fire alarm systems in accordance with local, national, and international Fire safety codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, IEC, BS). Develop and review engineering drawings, specifications, and schematics for Fire alarm systems. Carry out procurement activities such as MR, TBE, Vendor print review etc. for Fire Alarm System. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project updates for clients and stakeholders. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, electrical engineers, and construction managers, to integrate Fire alarm systems into overall project designs. Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine Fire alarm system requirements and optimal solutions. Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of Fire alarm systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance as part of Field Engineering. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues related to Fire Alarm system. Ensure that Fire alarm systems are compliant with all relevant safety regulations and standards. Manage vendors and contractors for Fire Alarm systems procurement, installation, and commissioning. Provide technical support and training to other engineers, technicians, and clients regarding Fire alarm systems. Work closely with the project management team to meet project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Participate in vendor/ subcontractor meetings Model Review in Navis Works / Working experience in AutoCAD Familiarity with ISO/Quality control procedures. Skills: Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams, contractors, and clients. Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Familiar with MS Office Word/Excel/PowerPoint, and similar computer program Good Interpersonal skills, Communication skills in English Other Desirable Requirements Certification in Fire protection engineering (e.g., NICET, CFPS). Experience with integrated Fire protection systems, including suppression and detection. Knowledge of PLC programming and control systems for Fire alarm applications. Willing for overseas office / site deputation
