  • Candidates should possess strong proficiency in SQL and its variation among popular databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL etc..)
  • Good experience working with SQL functions, analytical functions and performing unit testing.
  • Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements
  • Sound understanding of Data Warehouse concepts (CDC, SCD, Facts, Dims etc..)
  • Should be familiar with the concepts of a Data Model, Semantic Model etc...
  • Knowledge of best practices when dealing with RDBMS.
  • Capable of troubleshooting common SQL issues.
  • Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
  • Good knowledge of Java or Python language and should have experience creating scripts and integrating with databases.
  • Willing to learn, adapt to and work on new technologies.
  • Familiarity with Cloud concepts would be helpful (not a mandatory skill).
  • Knowledge of any reporting tool (Tableau, PowerBI, MS) would be helpful (not a mandatory skill).
  • Experience working on projects within the Life Sciences, Insurance, CPG domains would be helpful.
  • Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and should be able to express thoughts clearly and effectively.
  • Should be able to work with other supporting teams, vendors and share updates, progress and status with leads, project managers and client managers.
