What You Will Do:

As a Node.js Engineer , you will play a key role in designing and developing server-side applications and microservices. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend systems, working collaboratively with other engineers, and ensuring the delivery of seamless and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Node.js Development: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Node.js and related technologies. Develop backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
  • Project Ownership: Take ownership of various backend projects from planning through to implementation and delivery. Ensure that timelines and quality standards are met while following best practices.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with frontend developers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth development and integration of solutions.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements to ensure the scalability and speed of applications.
  • Problem Solving: Use your strong problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex issues and offer effective solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications and experience:

  • Proficiency in Node.js: A minimum of 5 years experience building backend systems with Node.js . Familiarity with frameworks such as Express.js is essential. Experience working with databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and ORMs like Sequelize or Mongoose.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: You can analyze complex problems and come up with practical solutions. Your attention to detail ensures you don't miss any important details.
  • Experience with APIs and Microservices: You have hands-on experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices in a Node.js environment.
  • Proactive and Result-Oriented: You take full ownership of your work, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard. You are comfortable in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities.
  • Version Control & Deployment: Experience using Git for version control and familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or others is a plus.
