Title: Junior Accountant
Location: Santacruz , Mumbai
Job Summary:
The Junior Accountant at our company is responsible for supporting the finance team in managing day-to-day accounting tasks and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role includes handling GST requirements, managing financial vouchers, assisting in TDS preparation, and ensuring timely accounting of all transactions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adept at using financial software, and capable of effectively communicating with clients and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
1)     GST Management : Handle GST registration, filing of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3 B, and perform GST reconciliations for 2 A and 2 B.
2)     Financial Transactions : Generate vouchers for every financial transaction, including purchases, sales invoices, and payments to suppliers, and receivables from debtors.
3)     TDS and Regulatory Compliance : Assist with TDS preparation, IEC registration from the DGFT portal, and PAN registration.
4)     Bank Coordination : Liaise with banks for import documentation, loan disbursements, and other banking queries.
5)     Audit and Reconciliation : Assist with internal audits and prepare bank reconciliations.
6)     Accounting Software Proficiency : Manage day-to-day accounting in Tally Prime, recording different expenses and income with various taxes.
7)     Payroll and Invoice Management : Prepare salary details and follow up with clients and vendors for payments and invoices through emails and calls.
Qualifications:
a)    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
b)    Proficient in accounting software, especially Tally Prime.
c)     Familiarity with GST, TDS, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
Experience:
a)    3+ years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in a similar industry.
b)    Experience with financial documentation and e-filing is advantageous.
Skills:
1)    Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
2)    Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
3)    Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
4)    Honest, Punctual and Open to learning.
