Unifo Pvt. Ltd is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Software Testing Engineer-Level-1 to join our dynamic technology team in Sholinganallur, Chennai . Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript (TS) for web and application testing. Execute automated and manual tests to identify software defects and inconsistencies. Collaborate closely with development and product teams to understand requirements and integrate testing throughout the development lifecycle. Develop and implement comprehensive test plans , test cases, and test strategies. Analyze test results, generate reports, and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders. Work with CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous integration of automated tests. Participate in all phases of the development process, including design reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies. Required Skills and Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance or a related field. Hands-on expert experience with the Playwright automation framework, specifically using TypeScript (TS) . Proven experience in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation frameworks. Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Familiarity with or working knowledge of Selenium (WebDriver). Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Desirable Qualifications : Experience with API testing (e.g., using tools like Postman or native Playwright capabilities). Knowledge of performance and security testing principles. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Location & Salary : Job Location: Chennai. Joining: Immediate
