As Director of Engineering , you will lead a team of managers and senior engineers in developing cutting‑edge data analytics and platform solutions. You’ll be hands‑on with architecture, design and development, driving projects from 0 to 1 while aligning with customer needs and business goals.ResponsibilitiesLead a team of managers and senior engineers to build Saa S applications and platform solutions from scratch.Be hands‑on in architecture, design, and development, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.Navigate uncertainty, prioritise features, and drive projects toward clear, measurable goals.Focus on customer-centric development, ensuring solutions meet real user needs and enable business outcomes.Foster a growth mindset, mentor engineers and engineering leaders, and establish best practices.Collaborate with product management and leadership teams to ensure alignment between engineering execution and business strategy.Requirements15+ years in technology, with 10+ years in leadership/technical leadership roles.Strong track record in architecture and design of complex, scalable systems.Proven experience building a Saa S application or platform solution from 0 to 1 (end‑to‑end product engineering: concept → architecture → launch → scale).Experience leading and managing engineering teams of 40‑50+ engineers or equivalent managers.Exceptional problem‑solving skills, with a strong customer‑focus and business acumen.Excellent communication and team management skills, comfortable collaborating with senior stakeholders and cross‑functional leadership.
