Role Overview:


Lorven Ventures is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The Accountant will oversee the company’s financial operations, maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and support decision-making with financial insights. This role is vital for managing budgets, tracking expenses, and providing financial clarity to management.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Financial Management: Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Handle daily transactions, journal entries, and account reconciliations.

2. Budgeting and Cost Control: Assist in preparing budgets and forecasting financial performance. Monitor and analyze expenses to ensure they are within budget. Provide cost analysis and identify areas for cost-saving opportunities.

3. Tax Compliance: Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns accurately and on time. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, including income tax, company law, and other statutory requirements. Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants during audits and assessments.

4. Payroll Management: Process employee salaries, incentives, and deductions accurately. Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, and other payroll-related regulations. Handle payroll reconciliation and maintain employee salary records.

5. Vendor and Client Management: Handle vendor payments, track outstanding invoices, and resolve payment disputes. Manage client invoicing, payment tracking, and receivables follow-up.

6. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Generate periodic financial reports and provide insights to management for decision-making. Track key financial metrics and provide analysis on company performance. Prepare MIS (Management Information System) reports on a monthly or quarterly basis.


Key Skills and Competencies:


  • Accounting Expertise: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Tally, MS Excel, and other accounting software.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in handling financial transactions and preparing reports.
  • Taxation Knowledge : Expertise in GST, TDS, and other statutory tax regulations.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Communication : Strong interpersonal skills to work with vendors, clients, and internal teams.


Qualifications:



Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or finance roles (real estate industry experience is a plus).
