Role Overview:
The Assistant Manager - IT will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of IT infrastructure at Sarovar Hotels Pvt Ltd. This role involves providing technical support, maintaining system operations, managing networks, and ensuring data security. The candidate will collaborate with vendors, lead IT procurement efforts, and train staff on technology-related best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IT systems at hotel locations (on-site/online).
- Provide assistance to hotel staff for software and hardware issues.
- Oversee the maintenance of Wi Fi networks, CCTV surveillance systems, and EPABX systems.
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor and optimize network performance for seamless connectivity across locations.
- Manage software applications, operating systems, and hardware devices used in operations.
- Coordinate software updates, patches, and troubleshooting for hotel IT systems.
- Implement security protocols to protect sensitive guest and company data.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and cybersecurity best practices.
- Assess IT requirements and procure necessary hardware/software solutions.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance on the effective use of IT systems.
- Assist in the implementation of new IT systems, upgrades, and technological initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in IT support and management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of networking, system administration, and cybersecurity.
- Excellent troubleshooting, vendor management, and communication skills.
- Ability to train and support staff on IT-related issues.
