ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Software Developer - Full Stack to join our R&D team and contribute to the transformation of our platform and products. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled developer with a passion for both front-end and back-end technologies, as well as mobile solutions, AI/ML, and modern software engineering practices in the fitness industry. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Develop and maintain full-stack solutions, working with both front-end and back-end technologies to deliver high-quality features and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, design) to define technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for key products and platform enhancements.
- Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment and post-launch monitoring.
- Develop and optimize both front-end and back-end systems using a diverse technology stack, including Java, .NET, React/React Native, and mobile development frameworks.
- Implement scalable and maintainable code that follows best practices in secure coding, testing, and performance optimization.
- Utilize Cloud technologies (AWS or Azure) to design, implement, and deploy solutions that are scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient.
- Collaborate with engineering leaders to identify and implement software engineering best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and security requirements.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of relevant software development experience, with expertise in both front-end and back-end development.
- 3+ years of experience with Java, .NET, React/React Native, and mobile development frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in Cloud technologies, particularly AWS or Azure, with hands-on experience building cloud-native applications.
- Experience working with modern web technologies and building scalable RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, containers (Docker), and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong familiarity with agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on building maintainable and efficient software solutions.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, ensuring secure coding and operations in the software development lifecycle.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for continuous improvement and a growth mindset, eager to learn and mentor others.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
AND IT’S GREAT TO HAVE:
- Experience with AI/ML technologies and integrating machine learning models into software solutions.
- Hands-on experience in mobile application development using React Native or other frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools.
- Experience in the fitness or health tech industry or building solutions for large-scale user bases.
- Knowledge of application security principles and techniques, including secure coding and penetration testing.
- Leadership experience or a demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
