Boston Institute of Analytics (BIA) - Hebbal Bengaluru Campus is looking for a motivated and experienced Lead Academic Counselor to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and experience in EdTech sales or student counseling. As a Lead Academic Counsellor , you will provide essential academic counseling and career guidance to prospective students, helping them navigate course offerings, admissions requirements, and career opportunities in the analytics industry. You will be a key part of our admissions team, working closely with students and their families to drive student enrollments and support student retention. You will be responsible for managing and leading the team of Counsellors. Student Counseling : Provide personalized guidance to prospective students on BIA’s academic programs, course offerings, fees, curriculum, and prerequisites. Guide students through the admission process, including application submissions, interviews, and document verification to ensure a seamless experience. Lead Follow-Up and Conversion: Follow up with potential leads and inquiries, using lead conversion techniques to drive student enrollments. Presentations & Online Counseling: Conduct engaging presentations, online counseling, and face-to-face meetings to explain the features, benefits, and career opportunities associated with BIA’s courses. Maintain accurate records of student counseling sessions, follow-up actions, and feedback in alignment with data management best practices. Career Counseling: Provide career advice on job opportunities, certifications, and upskilling relevant to the analytics industry to help students achieve their professional goals. Industry Awareness: Stay updated on the latest trends in education and analytics to provide informed, insightful guidance. Relationship Building: Lead the sales process , establish contact, call and meet prospective students Be the point of contact for all sales-related queries and communication Give presentation to prospective clients in education sector like colleges and universities Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations Prepare and maintain a master database of all prospects and their contacts Experience: Minimum of 4 year in leading EdTech sales and academic counseling for tier1 EdTech companies. Excellent English communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written. Negotiation Skills: Ability to engage prospective students and their families effectively, with strong negotiation skills to support lead conversion. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM tools or other record-keeping systems for effective data management. Digital Marketing Skills: Proficiency in managing digital campaigns on Google Ads and Meta Platforms. Social Media Branding: Managing digital strategy, content publication and view generation.
