Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Audio Engineer Intern at Wizdom: Books and Podcasts Summaries in 15 Min. The Audio Engineer Intern will be responsible for working with microphones, audio engineering, sound design, audio-visual (AV) systems, and acoustics to create an immersive and high-quality listening experience for users.
Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Audio Engineer Intern to join our remote team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a keen interest in audio production to gain practical experience in a fast-paced environment. The intern will assist our Lead Audio Engineer with various tasks related to audio editing, sound design, and music production.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize text-to-speech software to convert written scripts into audio files.
- Add music and sound effects to enhance audio projects.
- Research and identify new voices for various projects.
- Support the Lead Audio Engineer in tasks such as audio editing, mixing, and mastering.
- Assist in maintaining and organizing audio files and project assets.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest audio production techniques and software.
Requirements:
- Strong interest in audio production and sound design.
- Familiarity with digital audio workstations (DAWs)
- Basic understanding of audio editing and mixing principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must have access to a reliable computer and internet connection.
- Commitment: 5-6 hours per day.
