M&A Research Analyst Intern, Technology Investment BankingLocation: PuneJob Description:We are looking for an Investment Banking Intern with an interest in B2B email marketing and lead generation for technology and consulting companies across industry verticals. As a M&A Research Analyst Intern, Technology sector, you will take on various responsibilities such as email prospecting; maintaining prospect databases; writing well-researched and specific emails for a CxO audience that entice readers to respond positively; running email campaigns and generating summarised reports and or metrics to measure effectiveness.The firm believes in providing appropriate opportunities for building meaningful experience within the Investment Banking industry, getting exposure to the ecosystem and key external participants in the Investment Banking ecosystem, and building valuable industry connections and professional networks over the longer term.Key Requirements:Researching Technology companies across different domains including IT Services, AI, Cloud, IoT, etc. based on certain investment parameters such as Revenue, No of employees, industry and other key parametersBuilding and maintaining key information repository and contact databases with high accuracyAssisting senior Transaction team with support required on a daily basis with respect to building information lists above in a timely and accurate manner (for eg: you may quickly gather research and information on Top 30-50 AI companies on one day and next work on different Technology industry segment based on business priorities, etc.)Coordinating and scheduling discovery calls with qualified companies, investors, etc. and managing emails/follow-ups proactivelyMaintaining call volume and research metrics per day with the intent to qualify leads and support the process with the teamConduct secondary research based on the specific technology sector and conduct market analysisRequirements:A curious individual who is a passionate stalker of tech companiesPossess interest in identifying and developing opportunities through insightful secondary research and can browse extensivelyCan build, scrub and curate email marketing database/information to support campaignsExperience in handling email automation tools and social media platforms like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Twitter, etc.Must have strong inner drive and self-discipline, proficiency in MS Excel ,B2B SaaS, Data Analytics and Technology sector knowledge is a plusExceptional Research skills & the ability to manage large databases of information, lists, excel data, etc.Ability to support and prioritize work as assigned by senior team membersFluency in written and spoken English as well as strong communication and tele-calling skillsAbout the Firm:SA Global Advisors (SA) is a leading global investment banking firm focused exclusively on growth investments and M&A for the Digital and Technology sectors.
