We are looking candidate preferrably from Oil & Gas industry. We can consider candidates from EPC, Construction, or Marine industry.
HIGH LEVEL SUMMARY:
As an in-house legal executive, you will be responsible for supporting the Risk & Strategy team whilst providing advice and support to the organization, including its various departments and business units. You will work with the various stakeholders to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, applicable laws and regulations, and to manage legal and contractual risks associated with the organization's activities. You will also be responsible for drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents, as well as supporting internal and external resources in managing and resolving legal and contractual disputes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position will support the legal department by managing and overseeing day-to-day legal operations.
Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable local and international laws and regulations, providing legal advice to internal departments, and maintaining legal. documentation.
The role also involves coordinating with external legal counsel and ensuring proper contract management. Strong knowledge of legal frameworks, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this position.
Experience in an in-house legal department, preferably in a service provider Organization. Company in oil & gas industry would be preferred but is not compulsory.
Strong knowledge of commercial law and contract law.
Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful negotiations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail.
Excellent skills in reviewing and drafting contracts and other legal documents.
Requirements:
Mandatory:- Bachelor’s degree in law.
Desirable: Masters or other postgraduate degree in law, business or finance
At least 5-8 years of relevant legal experience in an in-house legal department, preferably from an Oil and Gas company or a large-sized organization with diverse business verticals.
