Job Title: Manager - EOL support(80008972)
Purpose of the Role The role exists to support EOL issue resolution related to EVHV powertrain for entire range of PVBU vehicles.
Job Responsibility
1. EOL support and issue management:
Assist and Participate in EOL issue meeting- for HV powertrain (PT) component failures. Conduct Failure Mode Simulation and analysis for HV PT components Analysis of diagnostic tool, CAN and TCU logs and learning logical connectivity of log parameters to understand EOL failure. CAN Network topology, DTCs Reading and Diagnosis Participation Line Audit , Supplier Line Audit, Support Failure analysis. Organize and coordinate with COC’s to reviews issues faced at EOL and track the issue resolution of the same Follow up and coordinate with core group and extended team for live issues and concerns raised by EOL team Knowledge of Handling Various Electrical measurement equipment’s like Oscilloscope, Data Loggers, Megger, Current probes, Am probes, Thermal imager etc. Knowledge and Experience in using hardware tools Vector CANanalyzer, ETAS Tool/INCA, Vehicle Spy Knowledge on Benchmarking of existing electric vehicle to provide input to design to reduce Line issue. Understanding the Logical Circuit Diagram ( Electrical), Harness for HV and LV, Knowledge of High voltage safety standard and Service tool Joint failure analysis and discussion for Design/ Software strategy refinement to mitigates EOL failures
2. Field failure Deliverable success review:
Track the vehicle issues which is beyond resolvable by field team for quick resolution support. Collate data for Risk assessment and ensure timely escalation through review governance process Organize reviews to communicate the issues to respective COC’s and ensure identified actions are followed through.
3. Field Data management process and documentation:
Undertake documentation pertaining to all EOL status. Prepare and maintain the EOL issue history
Desired Candidate Profile
 Engineering Graduate with 4+ years of experience in domain of EOL vehicle level data analysis and issue resolution related to HV powertrain.
 In depth knowledge of car aggregate related to HV powertrain, features and related EV ecosystem
 Knowledge on HV component integration and bit on development as well.
 Knowledge of Products, Processes and Organisation structure
 Exposure to Field service for EV, Processes and Practices followed for field issue resolution
 Knowledge CAN protocol, and Experience in using hardware and Diagnostic tools.
 Know-how of Electric Vehicle architecture
 Candidates shall be well versed in the Data Management, Behavioural and leadership skills and shall be able to manage the team.
 The candidate should have knowledge about Telematics, Can data acquisition and analysis.
 The role is responsible for Mitigating of related issue resolution activities related to HV powertrain.
 Drive all EOL issue related activities across different EV car platforms to achieve the Customer satisfaction, improve product level quality with design inputs from observed issues in Line, indirectly reduce warranty cost and improve new products.
 Coordinating between Service team, COC’s, VI, VE, suppliers and CFT team to resolve vehicle EOL issues during launch and post launch to resolve EOL issue.
 Support for EOL issue analysis, troubleshooting faults at Field, Roadblocks faced in Line related issue analysis, communication in Line etc.
 Co-ordinating & influencing across functions
 Facilitating Field activities for Electric vehicles across functional teams
 Get the task done attitude & Ability to manage on the projects
 Able to work under pressure & plan & organize effectively with the right sense of urgency
Skills & Competencies 1. Customer centricity: Timely issue resolution and design/process feedback for mitigation of the issue, to reduce warranty cost and improve new products. 2. Driving execution: Support for Field issue analysis, troubleshooting faults at EOL, Roadblocks faced in Line issue analysis, effective communication for clarity on issues observed at EOL etc. 3. Project management: Drive all EOL issue related activities across different EV car platforms to achieve the Customer satisfaction, improve product level quality with design inputs from observed issues in field, indirectly reduce warranty cost and improve new products.
