Role Overview:
As an intern at ProNest, you will have the unique opportunity to work on both the technology and business sides of a transformative project. You will assist in developing and improving a cutting-edge freelance marketplace platform built on the ONDC framework, while also contributing to business strategies aimed at aggregating, upskilling, and empowering Indian freelancers. This is a dynamic, hands-on role ideal for someone looking to gain experience in both product development and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Website and App Development Support: Assist the development team in building and maintaining the freelance marketplace platform, focusing on user experience, functionality, and integration with the ONDC framework.
- Testing and QA: Support in testing new features and ensuring they are bug-free and meet user needs before launch.
- Business Strategy Support: Assist in defining and executing business strategies for acquiring and retaining Indian freelancers, including market research on freelance trends and requirements.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze user and freelancer data to generate reports on usage patterns, business growth, and platform performance, providing actionable insights to the business team.
- Client and community engagement: Assist with outreach strategies to attract businesses and clients to the platform, ensuring that the marketplace meets both freelancer and client needs. Help build a community of Indian freelancers, supporting initiatives to encourage knowledge-sharing, networking, and engagement within the platform.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Business, Management, Marketing, or related fields.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of web/app development, familiarity with platforms like WordPress, React, or Angular, and an understanding of ONDC and open digital networks is a plus.
- Business Acumen: A strong interest in business strategy, market analysis, and freelancing ecosystems. Previous exposure to business operations, marketing, or product management is a bonus.
