We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) - MEPin a construction company who typically oversee the entire MEP (Mechanical, Electrical,and Plumbing) scope of projects, and will be responsible for the successful planning,execution, and management of all MEP aspects of construction projects, ensuring that allsystems are designed, installed, and maintained to the highest standards, within budget,and on schedule.Scope/Accountabilities of the role:• Project Management : Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets forMEP work, ensuring adherence to project timelines and financial targets. Monitor projectprogress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions. Lead and manageMEP teams, including site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors. Coordinate withother departments (civil, structural, etc.) to ensure seamless project execution. Prepareand review detailed project reports, including progress reports, cost reports, and riskassessments.• Quality Assurance and Control : Implement and monitor quality assurance and controlprocedures for MEP work. Conduct regular inspections of MEP installations to ensurecompliance with standards and specifications. Address and resolve any quality issuespromptly and effectively.• Procurement : Participate in the selection and procurement of MEP materials andequipment. Manage relationships with MEP suppliers and subcontractors. Ensure timelydelivery of materials and equipment to the project site.• Liaison : Maintain effective communication with consultants throughout theproject lifecycle. Address queries and concerns promptly and professionally.• Cost Management : Develop and manage MEP project budgets. Monitor projectcosts and identify cost-saving opportunities. Prepare and review cost reports andinvoices.
