And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.Overview:This role is for an experienced Safety Specialist or Safety Engineer in Amazon Data Centre India Private Limited ("ADSIPL"). The roles prime responsibility will be to support the safety operations for Data Centers in south region of India. You will be part of the India team that works with internal and external partners to maintain and enhance the safety of operations in India. Close collaboration with onsite physical security, vendors, compliance officers, risk management, and fire/life safety systems is required. Additionally, you will work with employees and contractors in India to achieve specific safety objectives.The person must be an effective communicator, sending clear, concise and consistent messages verbally, in written form, and/or public speaking forums. This individual will advise, instruct and train ADSIPL personnel on safety policies and procedures, as well as assist the ADSIPL teams in incorporating and improving our safety standards at their sites.This role will be responsible for continuing to enhance the safety of operations and support construction.
