Tenure / Location: Full-time Regular Employment Position, based out of Bengaluru

Experience: 5+ years in assessing credit risk and underwriting for Business Lending and Supply-Chain Finance products.

We encourage retired banking professionals with the relevant background.

The Credit Underwriter will analyze the financial and transactional data to assess the creditworthiness of the businesses and their channels. This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing credit assessment reports, to either underwrite on our own books or match-making with the suitable lenders. This person shall ensure that all documentation and processes comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Job Content:

Review and analyze loan applications, credit reports, financial statements, and other relevant documents.

Collect, analyze, and interpret credit data from various sources to assess the creditworthiness of the customers. Develop and maintain credit scoring models to evaluate the credit risks.

Qualify leads by assessing the financial needs and eligibility criteria of potential clients.

Collect and accurately record detailed information and outcomes of each lead assessment, in the CRM system.

Prepare detailed reports on credit analysis findings, including risk assessments, credit ratings, and recommendations.

Collaborate with 3rd party lenders, banks, including internal/external finance, sales, and operations, to ensure accurate and comprehensive credit evaluations.

Ensure all loan processing activities comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.

Minimum 2years experience as a Credit Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role within the financial services industry.

Familiarity with credit risk assessment methodologies and financial statement analysis.

Knowledge of loan processing procedures, credit risk assessment, and regulatory requirements.
