About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced UI Developer with at least 5 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team and reporting directly to our CTO based at the jouleWise US office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing web based UI applications using React or equivalent technology in cloud —possessing a deep understanding of various React libraries, and capable of delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for this person to be part of an extremely talented Indo-US team to build the product from ground up and grow with the company. By driving this crucial initiative, you'll significantly contribute to global ESG efforts, helping companies reduce their carbon footprints and embrace sustainable practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web applications: Design, code, and maintain robust, scalable applications using React, React Native, and relevant front-end technologies in Azure cloud
  • React Libraries: Utilize and integrate a variety of React libraries to enhance application functionality and performance.
  • User Interface Design: Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, designers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all developed systems and applications.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other issues in a timely manner.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in React and React Native.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Web UI development.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and ES6+.
  • Strong experience with Web framework such as Node.js, React
  • Strong knowledge of any charting and grid package
  • Good knowledge of React libraries such as Redux, React Router, Context API, etc.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
  • Knowledge of wireframing tools such as Figma
  • Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Knowledge of API development using Python
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of building applications in Azure or equivalent cloud
  • Proficient with version control systems, such as Azure DevOps or equivalent.
  • Proficient with CI/CD and test driven development
