Project Description:
As part of our strategic partnership with one of the biggest financial institutions in the World, we are hiring various IT specialists, who will become part of their IT Service Center . The bank is an international organization dedicated to providing financing, advice, and research to developing nations to aid their economic advancement. The bank predominantly acts as an organization that attempts to fight poverty by offering developmental assistance to middle- and low-income countries. Our client is a provider of financial and technical assistance to individual countries around the globe. The bank considers itself a unique financial institution that sets up partnerships to reduce poverty and support economic development.
Responsibilities:
Technical design, coding, database changes, configuration, unit testing, UAT and technical support in the area of Workforce Administration & Compensation. Work may include the following items, but are not limited to:
• Coding of custom Salary Setting Solution for The Client in Oracle APEX,
• Create secure, scalable enterprise scale APEX Applications (On-Premise and Oracle cloud),
• Heavy Customization of Oracle Apex including customization of APEX themes, templates, and plug-ins,
• Data Architecture Design & Implementation,
• Implementation of Dashboards, Analytics and Reports,
• Implementation of Approval workflow processes,
• Implementation and validation in alignment to client Staff rules,
• Data integrations with external systems and modules,
• Self Service capabilities for Managers,
• Documentation of technical design and data architecture.
• Build and manage powerful reports.
• Build a variety of pages (ex. Cards, Faceted Search, Smart Filters, Maps, Charts and Calendars)
• Implement navigation in the application,
• Enhance app using Computations, Processes, Validations and Dynamic Actions,
• Implement Security in the APEX application,
• Deployment of APEX applications across environments.
Mandatory Skills:
PL/SQL
PostgreSQL
Mandatory Skills Description:
The successful execution of the project requires very experienced developers with solid technical knowledge.
This statement of work is to seek resources with the following skills:
Minimum Experience:
 6+ years of experience in IT Technology
 5+ years of experience in Oracle APEX development
Education:
 Must hold Bachelor's degree or equivalent
.
Oracle APEX:
 Solid development skills in Oracle APEX.
 Oracle APEX Certification is a plus.
Oracle Database Management:
• Senior Oracle database architect with advance schema design, and data modeling experience.
• Solid business acumen on Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for database querying and programming.
Front End Development:
 Familiarity with front-end technologies to customize Oracle APEX applications' user interface.
 Experience with web development using HTML5, Style Sheet, CAML, XML, XSLT, or JavaScript.
Data Integration:
 Experience integrating Oracle APEX applications with RESTful services and APIs.
Version Control:
 Proficiency in using tools for source control and version management.
Personal Skills:
 Motivated, self-starter with great interpersonal skills to work with distributed teams.
 Strong attention to details, quality and testing.
 Able to work in high pressure situations and tight schedules, while quickly producing excellent solutions to problems and production issues.
 Able to work independently and deliver timely results.
The resource is to be based in India and available to work during Washington DC work hours for at least half of the day.
