Cloud Security Architect with 10 or more years of extensive experience and knowledge in developing and implementing enterprise-wide security solutions. Essential Functions: Work with Engineering, Infrastructure Services, and Application Development organizations in developing security solutions and facilitates complete integration into the company Cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure). Advanced understanding of tools and techniques used by attackers to exploit common IT system flaws and vulnerabilities. Develop and contribute to the high-quality security architecture specifications, white papers, technical documentation, and presentation materials. Assist the Cloud Security leader in IT Security while engaging with other technical team members throughout organization in design and implementation of cloud and cloud/hybrid-based implementations and solutions. Work with little or no supervision in engineering deliverables based on high-level directives and principles to meet project requirements and timelines. Make informed decisions on matters of risk and security engineering approach that reflect the information security experience and industry best practices. Contribute to the security reference architectures for complex information systems based on industry frameworks and with traceable alignment to business requirements and goals Ensure security tools are deployed with appropriate security policies and rules to manage security risk, feed events to the corporate SIEM and minimize impact to systems and users. Stay current with industry trends in the information security space. Qualifications - External 8 or more years of experience with Security Architecture and Engineering. 4 or more years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure. Experience with implementing large scale global security projects from start to finish. Experience with implementing security controls within Dev Ops pipelines. Experience with the implementation of a comprehensive and broad set of security technologies and processes (secure software development, data protection, cryptography, key management, and network security) within Saa S, Iaa S, Paa S, and other cloud environments. Working knowledge of common and industry standard cloud-native authentication mechanisms (OAuth, Open ID, etc.). Experience with deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management (Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, Terraform etc.). Experience with virtualization, containers, and serverless technologies. Experience with hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premises to cloud migration deployments. Experience with secure migration of applications in the cloud (AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure). Familiarity with AWS and Azure foundation and Paa S services. Strong written and oral skills.
