Position: SAP IBP Architect

Experience: 15+ years experience in SAP IBP (Demand, Response & Supply, S&OP, Inventory, Control Tower, DDMRP)

Location: Bangalore


  • Lead end-to-end implementation projects for SAP IBP, including requirement gathering, solution design, system configuration, testing, and deployment.


  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and external consultants, to gather business requirements and translate them into effective SAP IBP solutions.


  • Design and configure SAP IBP modules, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), and Integrated Business Planning.


  • Provide guidance and expertise to technical and functional teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.


  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend innovative solutions to optimize supply chain planning processes using SAP IBP.


  • Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of SAP IBP solutions.


  • Develop and deliver end-user training and documentation to ensure successful adoption and utilization of SAP IBP functionalities.


  • Perform ongoing system maintenance and support activities, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and performance monitoring. Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in SAP IBP and supply chain management to propose enhancements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align SAP IBP solutions with overall business strategies and objectives.


  • Strong knowledge of supply chain planning processes, including demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, S&OP, and integrated business planning.


  • In-depth understanding of SAP IBP functionalities, integration points with other SAP modules, and data models.


  • Proven experience in leading and managing end-to-end SAP IBP implementation projects, including requirement gathering, solution design, and deployment.


  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective SAP IBP solutions.


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.


  • Experience in training end-users and developing user documentation for SAP IBP solutions.


· You will review the proposals prepared by consultants, provide guidance, and analyze the solutions defined for the client's business problems to identify any potential risks and issues.


· You will identify change Management requirements and propose a structured approach to the client for managing the change using multiple communication mechanisms.


· You will also coach and create a vision for the team, provide subject matter training for your focus areas, and motivate & inspire team members through effective and timely feedback and recognition for high performance.


· You would be a key contributor in unit-level and organizational initiatives to provide high-quality, value-adding consulting solutions to customers adhering to the guidelines and processes of the organization. Technical and Professional Requirements:


  • 10+ years’ experience in SAP IBP (Demand, Response & Supply, S&OP, Inventory, Control Tower, DDMRP)
  • CPI-DS experience is an added advantage.
  • Should have domain understanding related to IBP modules.
  • Should have hands-on experience in doing configurations in the system

 Certification in APICS (CPIM, CSCP) and/or SAP IBP certification is an added advantage
