Job Description:

We at New Era Technology , an SAP Gold Partner , are seeking a strong and dynamic SAP FICO Functional Consultant with over 4+ years of experience to join us and work from our client location in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, configure, and support SAP FICO modules to align with business processes and client requirements.
  • Analyze and optimize end-to-end finance and controlling processes using SAP best practices.
  • Deliver GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting , Bank Accounting , Taxation (GST, VAT, withholding tax) , and closing processes (month-end and year-end).
  • Work on Controlling (CO) modules, including:
  • Cost Center Accounting
  • Profit Center Accounting
  • Internal Orders
  • Product Costing (standard and actual costing)
  • Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
  • Configure Automatic Payment Program (APP) , Dunning, and Correspondence processes.
  • Design and generate Financial Reports (Balance Sheet, P&L) and Controlling Reports through Report Painter/Writer .
  • Resolve integration issues between SAP FICO and other modules, such as MM, SD, and PP.
  • Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) , end-user training , and post-go-live support .
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, document business processes, and deliver solutions efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot, enhance, and optimize SAP FICO processes to ensure system performance and accuracy.
  • Provide support for SAP S/4HANA migration or upgrades as needed.

Skills & Requirements:

✅ Experience: 4+ years of strong functional experience in SAP FICO (implementation and support projects).

✅ Expertise in:

  • FI: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Taxation (GST, VAT), and Payment Processing.
  • CO: Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
  • Strong understanding of Integration with MM, SD, and other SAP modules.
  • ✅ Hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting processes like:
  • Automatic Payment Program (APP)
  • Dunning Procedures
  • Document Splitting
  • ✅ Ability to deliver financial and management reports using tools like Report Painter and other standard reporting features.
  • ✅ Added Advantage: Experience in SAP S/4HANA and knowledge of FIORI applications.
  • ✅ Excellent problem-solving skills with strong analytical abilities.
  • ✅ Effective communication and stakeholder management skills .

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Saturday
  • 2 Saturdays from office ; remaining Saturdays work from home
  • No other work-from-home option available.
