General Summary
As an Accounts Executive for the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), you will play a crucial role in working with the Global Finance team and own & support our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables functions for CCL globally. The role is in Gurgaon and is Specifically for “on campus” requirements.
Responsibilities
- Timely and accurate recording and updating of accounts receivable and/or payable in D365.
- Assist with the preparation, reconciliation and checking of schedules during/after the month-end close.
- Support reconciliation of bank statements
- Raise invoices and billable expenses promptly in D365. Drive cross-functional, cross-departmental collaboration to accurate and on-time data updates.
- Review the accounts receivable aging and perform collection activities.
- Assist with the preparation of any financial reports as required by regional leadership.
- Assist in annual audit and any related activities.
- Carry out all forms of accounting duties in support of the Finance department, month-end close activities, and other miscellaneous ad-hoc duties.
Experience and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Business or Finance and 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role utilizing computerized accounting system. Good excel skills.
- Experience with data entry and routine processing of accounting data.
- Must pay attention to details. Accuracy is essential.
- Ability to plan use of time in order to meet deadlines.
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal. Another language is an asset
- Good interpersonal skills are necessary due to constant interaction with CCL staff and persons outside the Center.
- Experience with US GAAP and Middle East accounting standards is highly appreciated.
- Energetic, strong willingness to learn and execute, deal with ambiguity and be able to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision and direction.
