(CEG) is a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with over 30 years of proven expertise in delivering complex infrastructure projects across India and abroad.Our core domains include:- Metro & Railway Systems- High-Speed Rail- Highways & Expressways- Bridges & Structures- Urban InfrastructureCEG is recognized for its technical excellence, strong project management, and the successful execution of major national and international assignments.Job Role: Chief Rolling Stock ExpertQualifications:- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering- Post-Graduation preferred in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering- Strong technical foundation in Rolling Stock design, operations, and maintenanceExperience Requirements:- Minimum 20 years of professional experience in Railway / Metro Rolling Stock- Experience must include Rolling Stock design, manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and interface management- At least 3 years of international experience working on Railway / Metro systems- Prior experience in senior technical advisory or expert roles preferredKey Responsibilities:- Lead and oversee all Rolling Stock–related activities for the project- Review design documents, technical specifications, and interface requirements- Coordinate with OEMs, system integrators, and multidisciplinary teams- Provide expert guidance on Rolling Stock procurement, performance parameters, reliability, and safety standards- Ensure compliance with international norms, project specifications, and best engineering practices- Support testing, commissioning, and acceptance of Rolling Stock- Evaluate vendor proposals and participate in technical negotiations- Provide periodic progress reports and recommendations to the clientSkills & Competencies:- Strong expertise in Rolling Stock technology and system integration- Knowledge of international Railway/Metro standards- Excellent leadership and coordination abilities- Strong analytical, documentation, and presentation skills- Ability to work in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments
