Position: Expert Software Engineer

Position-Specific Duties:

  • Design, develop, test, and integrate applications of medium complexity, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of design solutions to enhance cost-efficiency, quality, and performance of applications.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members, resolving complex design and production issues.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, supporting their growth and development in technical skills.
  • Proactively implement and advocate for best practices in software development.
  • Demonstrate strong collaboration across teams and with business stakeholders to drive product success.
  • Adhere to Agile methodologies in software configuration and development processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date system documentation, ensuring its relevance and accessibility for ongoing development.

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of hands-on software development experience with Python, including frameworks like Django, Flask, and API design.
  • Proficiency in databases (SQL & NoSQL), and solid experience in database management and optimization.
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud-based development, specifically with AWS platforms.
  • Strong background in engineering practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), DevSecOps, CI/CD, and software automation.
  • Expertise in implementing design patterns, microservices architectures, and scalable, loosely coupled systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
  • Proven experience in performance tuning, optimization, and scaling applications.
  • Experience in application stack modernization and cloud migration strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
