Job Title: Mid-Level Software Engineer ( C++) Work model : Hybrid. 3 days in office + 2 days remote at Bangalore, IndiaWork hours : 12.30PM to 9.30PM India Time (to ensure overlap with the US ET time till 12 Noon)Workdays : Mon to Fri. India holidays shall be observedProject Duration : 6 months. Can be extended.We are seeking for a team player with solid technical skills to work with our team of smart, creative, and dedicated engineering team-members.This is a mid-level position for a Software Engineer. Candidates must have a strong technical background and be capable of coming up to speed on new technologies quickly. Good communication skills, great problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both individually and collaboratively in a team environment are required. The language for most of the software development for this position is C++.Responsibilities:Design, develop, test and integrate Client software written in C++ from requirements to production and commercial deploymentAct as a member of an Agile scrum teamAssist with estimation of time and effort required to implement new requirementsParticipate in code reviews and improve software qualityInterface and work with cross-functional teams to successfully implement feature dependenciesEffectively employ innovative problem-solving techniquesIntegrate and validate new product designsQualifications:5+ years of experience in software developmentProgramming experience with C/C++ and object-oriented designExperience developing and debugging software in a Linux environmentFamiliarity with software configuration management, defect tracking tools, and peer reviewObject and Component Oriented DesignsTransmission security and cryptographic techniquesStrong documentation and writing skillsAdditional experience in the following areas is a plusFamiliarity with developing multi-threaded software applicationsKnowledge of communications and/or networking protocols, TCP/IP, UDP, IPv6, etc.Experience with cross-functional (hardware/firmware/software) development and verificationExperience in shell scripting using Perl, Lua, or PythonExperience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8Familiarity with Rust, Docker, GraphQL, Kubernetes, Conan, CMake, C++11Working knowledge of GCC, grep/awk/sed command line tools, bash scripting, GDB debugger, systemd suiteWorking knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Git, BitBucket, SharePoint, Jenkins and ArtifactoryEducation: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software, Systems, Mathematics, or related technical field.
