Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a U.S. Individual Tax Associate at Sanders US Tax Services. While primarily located in Hyderabad, this role offers flexibility for remote work. Roles and responsibilities include:
Participate in the preparation of U.S. individual federal and state tax returns for U.S. citizens worldwide.
Be involved in preparation of U.S. corporate and partnership federal and state tax returns.
Preparation of U.S. non-resident individual tax returns.
Assist in preparing the FinCEN Form 114 FBAR.
Identify and report PFICs on Form 8621.
Reporting to the senior management and supporting the administrative team.
Working with the team in Europe and the U.S. to meet deadlines.
Qualifications and Expectations
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in commerce, business administration or equivalent.
Extensive U.S. international individual tax experience in a public accounting firm or industry with a focus on U.S. expatriate taxation, with a minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience.
EA certification or willingness to obtain EA or CPA certification.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team.
Fluency in English. Knowledge of German and/or another European language is an added advantage.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple clients simultaneously.
Willingness to support the teams working in different time zones.
Knowledge of working in CCH and/or ProConnect tax software.
Awareness of corporate data protection.
Willingness to travel.
