Role Description

Drik Panchang is looking for Video Editor with expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects . The suitable candidate should be able to -

  • create promotional videos or reels related to upcoming Hindu religious festivals and fasting days.
  • create promotional videos for mobile apps already published on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
  • should be able to edit, filter and mix recorded audio (mostly devotional in Hindi and Sanskrit) and convert them into video with background animation and captions. Captions should be highlighted/animated along with lyrics.
  • expertise in animating Puranika Vrat Katha i.e. Hindu mythological stories into video would be extra plus

Good imagination and creativity, interest in other forms of artwork, good understanding of colour combination is mandatory requirement. As Drik Panchang primarily focuses on Indian culture, festivals and traditions , deep knowledge of Indian culture and rituals is required to create the appropriate content.

Basic knowledge in Illustrator or Corel Draw and Photoshop is also desired but not mandatory for this position. If you want to contribute to the rich content available on Drik Panchang products, please forward your resume to Drik Panchang with sample work or portfolio.

  • ability to imagine & conceptualize the video flow
  • able to generate basic artwork for Video in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop

Adarsh Mobile Applications LLP , which owns Drik Panchang, is not a start-up, but in business since 2010. However, we work on small footprint and do not believe in bulk hiring. At Drik Panchang we do not maintain attendance register and do not believe working after 6 p.m.

The  primary working location would be in Mathura . Mathura city is ideal for those who want to avoid traffic and pollution which has become part of most Indian Metro cities. One can just walk to office from home in no time. When it comes to food, Mathura is famous for its delicacies including famous Kachori and variety of sweets. Also, Domino’s, Pizza Hut, Zomato & Swiggy and Ola & Uber services are available which are comparable to any other Metro cities. Due to slow paced life city is ideal for those who love traditional way of living calm and peaceful life. The location is perfect for spiritually inclined people as ISKCON Vrindavan is just 11 km and birthplace of Lord Krishna is just 1.8 km away from office.  However, option to relocate to Bengaluru office is also available after completion of one year or before depending on the individual performance.

Salary is not a barrier for deserving candidates. However, please do not expect 100% hike. We decide salary based on your current CTC. Post joining Drik Panchang, all increments are performance based. However, we offer competitive package for deserving candidates. We don’t offer remote work option, and this position is for onsite work. We are looking for those candidates who can relate to Drik Panchang and become part of Drik family. We would help out-stationed candidates to relocate and settled down in Mathura city.
