Job Title: GCP Data Engineer (4 - 12 Years)Job Type: Full-TimeWork Mode: HybridLocations: Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, PuneJob Summary:We are looking for a talented GCP Big Query Data Engineer with strong SQL skills and basic proficiency in Python to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, particularly Big Query, and be capable of writing efficient SQL queries to support data transformation, analytics, and reporting tasks.Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement data solutions using Big Query and GCP-native services.- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis- Build and maintain data pipelines to support reporting and analytics use cases- Perform data validation, profiling, and quality checks to ensure data integrity- Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and engineers to understand data needs- Write Python scripts for automation, orchestration, and lightweight data processing tasks- Monitor and improve performance of Big Query workloads and queries- Maintain documentation of data flows, transformations, and processesRequired Skills & Qualifications:- 3 - 9 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics or BI development- Proven hands-on experience with Google Big Query and GCP data services (e.g., Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Dataflow optional)- Strong expertise in SQL, including analytical functions, joins, CTEs, and window functions- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python for scripting and automation- Understanding of data warehouse concepts, data modelling and normalization- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
