Now, we’re looking for a Videographer who can capture the energy of our salons and help us tell our story in motion. What You’ll Do

At Sugar St., our videography team helps our brands come alive. As our Videographer for our retainers, you will be:

• Capture Events & Openings: Film in‑salon events, product launches and new franchise openings, ensuring we have high‑quality footage for promotions and documentation.
• Produce Social Media Content: Create engaging short‑form videos and reels that showcase services, client transformations and behind‑the‑scenes moments for our social media channels.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with stylists, marketing managers and the Sugar St. creative team to plan shoots, brainstorm storyboards and ensure all videos align with brand aesthetics.
• Edit & Deliver: Edit footage into polished videos, adding music, titles and effects as needed. Deliver final clips on time for publishing across platforms.
• Support Internal Projects: Assist the Sugar St. team with ad‑hoc video assignments – from recording tutorials and interviews to capturing studio life – depending on our content calendar.
• Organize Equipment: Maintain your camera gear and manage storage of all raw and edited footage so it’s easy to access for future use.

What We’re Looking For

• We’re searching for someone who combines technical skill with a storyteller’s eye. You should have:
• A good quality camera and knowledge of basic videography techniques (lighting, composition, sound).
• Ability to use editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or similar tools.
• An understanding of social media formats, especially Instagram reels and short‑form video trends.
• Excellent time management and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to travel within the city to different client locations for shoots.
• A flexible, can‑do attitude – you’re not afraid to jump in and capture unexpected moments.
• Nice‑to‑Haves (Not Mandatory)
• Experience filming within restaurant & salon environments.
• Photography skills for still shots alongside video.
• Familiarity with motion graphics or basic animation.
• A reel or portfolio that demonstrates your storytelling ability.
