QA Engineer
Location - Bangalore/Kochi
Responsibilities:
- Perform testing of web and mobile applications, ensuring thorough quality checks before go-live sign-offs.
- Analyze functional specifications and design comprehensive test cases.
- Ensure complete test coverage, minimizing any potential defects or leakage.
- Execute regression testing to ensure system stability after updates.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
- Conduct smoke, sanity, and other functional tests as required.
- Identify, reproduce, and track bugs, verifying fixes to ensure resolutions are effective.
- Recommend improvements to optimize user experience and enhance the quality of web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues.
- Apply independent judgment and quickly adapt to new tasks and challenges.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of proven experience in manual testing.
- At least 1 year of experience in automation testing.
- Proficiency in testing web and mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including experience with JIRA.
- Expertise in writing detailed test scenarios and test cases.
- Experience working in an agile/scrum development environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in performance or security testing is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A high level of accountability and commitment to quality assurance.
