Role Overview: As a Data Analyst, you will have the opportunity to analyze and interpret complex data, providing valuable insights that will influence key decisions across departments. This role is ideal for a data enthusiast who wants the flexibility of working remotely while making a significant impact on the education of young minds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to provide actionable insights for various teams.
- Create and maintain detailed reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to track performance and support decision-making.
- Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies that enhance operational efficiency and academic performance.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and adherence to privacy standards, aligning with Makoons' commitment to data security.
- Use advanced analytics tools (SQL, Excel, Python, etc.) to extract meaningful insights and automate processes where applicable.
- Identify opportunities for improving data collection and management systems.
- Provide regular insights into key metrics, student outcomes, and operational success factors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in a remote setting.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Python, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to convey complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with managing large datasets and ensuring data quality.
- Knowledge of data privacy laws and best practices in data security.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for a remote work environment.
