iKargos is a full-stack cross-border digital supply chain platform located in Noida. The company is a logistics compliance and consulting firm that aims to support importers and exporters with cross-border trade compliance and certifications. iKargos increases transparency in freight, clearance, warehousing, and certification pricing by providing easy access to information about laws and regulations related to international logistics.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Back End Developer at iKargos in Noida. The Back End Developer will be responsible for back-end web development, software development, object-oriented programming (OOP), and collaborating with front-end developers and programmers to create seamless digital supply chain solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain robust backend systems using Node.js .
Design, optimize, and manage databases in MySQL and MongoDB .
Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements.
Build and consume RESTful APIs and support microservices architecture.
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code adhering to best practices.
Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and suggest improvements for existing systems.
Leverage Spring Boot to build Java-based backend services (if applicable).
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer or in a similar role.
Strong expertise in Node.js and frameworks like Express.js.
Hands-on experience with MySQL and MongoDB .
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
Proficient in version control systems like Git.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Spring Boot for developing Java-based backend systems.
Familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
