Position: Web Developer

Location: Bangalore, India (Initial 3-month onsite assignment in Oman )

Employment Type: Contract – 6 months (extendible by another 6 months)

Important Note

  • This is a contract position for an initial duration of 6 months, extendible for an additional 6 months..
  • Selected candidates must be open to travel and work onsite in Oman for the first 3 months .
  • After the initial assignment, the role will be based in Bangalore, India .

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years of working experience in one or multiple IT domains

Key Responsibilities

SharePoint Online Portal Administration & Support

  • Serve as the primary contact for all SharePoint Online portal technical support.
  • Gather business requirements and develop corresponding design documents.
  • Provide updates and reports on SharePoint usage.
  • Address business owners’ queries regarding SharePoint functionalities.
  • Conduct training and informational sessions to upskill employees on SharePoint.
  • Monitor, maintain, and document SharePoint portal updates, maintenance, and activity.
  • Provide second-level support for SharePoint technical issues.
  • Consult with management on aligning SharePoint solutions with business goals.

SharePoint Development

  • Configure and customize SharePoint portals per requirements and design specifications.
  • Develop new web components using C#, .NET, SQL, and XML .
  • Extend SharePoint functionality with web parts, electronic forms, and other technologies.
  • Perform testing to validate requirements and system integrity.
  • Deliver technical training sessions.

Nintex Forms & Workflow Development

  • Act as the point of contact for Nintex-related issues.
  • Design and develop forms and workflows using Nintex solutions, integrated with SharePoint lists and/or SQL databases.
  • Troubleshoot issues promptly and coordinate with the Nintex support team.

Reports & Dashboard Development

  • Create and manage reports and dashboards using Microsoft BI tools .

Website Administration & Development

  • Serve as the focal point for all website-related issues.
  • Manage and update website content.
  • Monitor website performance and provide technical support.
  • Create and update web pages using HTML/CSS best practices .
  • Evaluate structure, optimize content, and enhance site functionality.
  • Maintain technical documentation and ensure regular backups and restoration testing.
  • Expand and enhance the website as per evolving business needs.

Technology & Enterprise Analysis

  • Analyze the current technology environment.
  • Document enterprise-specific requirements.
  • Create solution prototypes and participate in technology selection.
  • Control solution development processes.
  • Support project management activities.
