About the Position

We are seeking a seasoned Bioinformatician with 4–6 years of hands-on experience in bioinformatics workflows , multi-omics data analysis , and pipeline development . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Nextflow and related bioinformatics tools, with the ability to effectively communicate biological insights to clients. This role requires collaboration with wet lab scientists, data engineers, and domain experts to deliver high-quality analyses and drive research innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize bioinformatics workflows and pipelines , with a focus on Nextflow.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of multi-omics datasets (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, etc.).
  • Translate complex bioinformatics findings into clear, actionable biological insights for clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (wet lab, engineering, and domain experts) to guide research and project outcomes.
  • Curate, process, and analyze public and proprietary biological datasets.
  • Prepare technical reports, scientific documentation, and client-facing presentations.
  • Mentor junior bioinformaticians and contribute to continuous improvement of bioinformatics practices.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in bioinformatics workflows and experience with Nextflow .
  • Strong programming skills (Python, R, or equivalent).
  • Hands-on experience with NGS data analysis and multi-omics workflows.
  • Solid understanding of molecular biology, genomics, and data-driven biology.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex biology to non-technical and client stakeholders.
  • Experience working in interdisciplinary biotech or research environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.Tech / M.Tech / M.Sc / Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Computational Biology, or a related field.
  • Experience with cloud-based computation (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Familiarity with common bioinformatics tools (e.g., GATK, STAR, DESeq2, scRNA-seq pipelines).
  • Demonstrated leadership in bioinformatics projects, including client-facing work.
