We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Associate – Tax to join our esteemed tax team. based financial operations, contributing to tax compliance and the delivery of accurate and timely reporting.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a deep understanding of tax and accounting principles and U. GAAP compliance, who excel in dynamic, collaborative environments driven by innovation, continuous improvement, and cross-border teamwork.
The ideal candidate is meticulous, analytical, and proactive, with a strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset—committed to delivering excellence and driving meaningful impact within a high-performance culture.
S. federal and state tax returns (1065, 1120 S, 1120) for general contractors, subcontractors, and developers.
Perform multi-state apportionment analysis and nexus determination for construction entities operating across jurisdictions.
Analyze percentage-of-completion (POC) and completed-contract methods for accurate tax treatment.
Handle depreciation schedules and Section 179/bonus depreciation related to heavy equipment and fixed assets.
Assist in preparation of K-1s, tax basis calculations, and reconciliation of book-to-tax differences for construction clients.
S. engagement teams to resolve open items and clarify construction-specific tax positions (e.g., Perform research on construction tax topics, including IRC §460, §199 A, and contractor-specific tax credits or deductions.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
CPA, EA, or pursuing is a plus.
Experience:
1–3 years of experience in U. S. tax preparation (construction or real estate clients preferred).
S. tax laws as applied to contractors.
Familiarity with Go System Tax RS or CCH Axcess
Solid understanding and proven practical application of US GAAP accounting standards and methodologies.
Exceptional proficiency in written and verbal English communication, enabling clear and effective collaboration with U. Preferred but not mandatory skills or experiences:
