Cloud licensing and contracts specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a Cloud Licensing and Contracts Specialist to manage the end-to-end licensing process with our customers and partners. This role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft, AWS, and GCP licensing models, both on-premises and cloud-based. The ideal candidate will excel at coordinating with customers to gather SKU information, securing optimal quotes from partners, and managing the full lifecycle of contract negotiations, including volume discounts, terms, and yearly commitments. Key Responsibilities: Licensing Coordination: Work closely with customers to gather SKU information and requirements. Coordinate with partners to secure accurate and competitive quotes. Stay updated on End-of-Life (EOL) and End-of-Support (EOS) versions for Microsoft, AWS, and GCP products. Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate terms, conditions, volume discounts, and pricing for licensing agreements. Facilitate contract execution between our company, customers, and partners. Ensure contract accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company goals. Quote and SOW Development: Prepare detailed quotes, Statements of Work (SOW), and contracts with clear deliverables. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure all documentation meets business and legal requirements. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners to foster long-term engagements. Act as the primary point of contact for all licensing-related inquiries. Compliance and Reporting: Monitor contract performance, including compliance with terms and volume commitments. Provide regular reporting on licensing status, volume sales, and cost-saving opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in licensing, contracts management, or procurement, specifically within cloud technology (Microsoft, AWS, GCP). Strong understanding of licensing models, both on-prem and cloud, with a focus on EOL and EOS products. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Proficient in creating clear, precise documentation, quotes, and SOWs. Ability to support and work effectively in the US time zone. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with volume sales and yearly sales commitment strategies. Knowledge of contract compliance and risk management.
