About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Backend Engineer with strong expertise in both Java and Python to join our team. As an SDE 2 , you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality backend systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor junior engineers.
Responsibilities:
● Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure backend services and APIs using Java and Python.
● Collaborate with front-end, DevOps, and product teams to deliver a seamless experience for users
● Participate in architecture discussions and influence design decisions for new features and systems.
● Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
● Perform code reviews, ensuring code quality and knowledge sharing across the team.
● Troubleshoot and debug production issues, optimizing performance and scalability.
● Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support in their technical growth.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
● 3-5 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on Java and Python.
● Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
● Proficiency in RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
● Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL), such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
● Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
● Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
