They specialise in AI-powered/Android-enabled chimneys and hobtops designed specifically for Indian cooking needs. Key innovations include voice commands, cooking timers, and whistle counters in their chimneys, providing superior convenience and safety. The company is rapidly expanding its market presence and manufacturing capabilities in India, aiming to be a leader in the premium smart kitchen space. This is a full-time, on-site role for an Industrial Design Engineer/Product Design Engineer located in Bengaluru . The role involves designing and developing innovative products, creating industrial design solutions, and utilising computer-aided design (CAD) tools for product development. Daily tasks will include generating 3D models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring designs align with functionality, aesthetics, and manufacturing feasibility. Design and develop innovative B2C products that meet functional, ergonomic, and aesthetic requirements. Use SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create 3D models, 2D drawings, and design mockups. Collaborate with industrial designers to align product form, usability, and brand identity. Develop concept sketches, renderings, and visual presentations for new product ideas. Select suitable materials, finishes, and colours based on cost, brand guidelines, and sustainability. Work with cross-functional teams (R&D, marketing, and production) to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability. Support prototype development, testing, and validation. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety norms, and regulatory requirements. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Design / Product Design Engineering. • 3–6 years’ experience in B2C product design (home appliances, consumer electronics, or related). • Proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modelling, assemblies, surface modelling) and AutoCAD (2D drafting). • Knowledge of manufacturing processes: plastics, sheet metal, die casting, injection moulding, and assembly. • Strong understanding of ergonomics, usability, and industrial design principles. •
