Role Description
The Strategic Programs Coordinator will play a pivotal role in enhancing the operational effectiveness and long-term sustainability of the organization. The role involves contributing to strategic planning, program implementation, and supporting the organization in achieving its goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Implementation:
Analyze current program design and operations to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and processes to address gaps in program delivery and organizational operations.
Contribute to building strategies for organizational growth through partnerships with government agencies, civil society, and other stakeholders.
Organize and support focus groups, both internally and externally, to communicate and refine strategic initiatives.
Develop strong working relationships with key influencers in the social sector to promote the organization’s mission and programs.
Attend key meetings and events to promote program offerings and strategic partnerships.
Identify new opportunities to expand the organization’s reach and support in developing tailored propositions for stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal teams to align program objectives with broader organizational goals.
Documentation & Reporting:
Prepare program reports, research findings, project proposals, and other critical documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Maintain version control for all documentation to ensure accuracy and easy access to updated materials.
Design and implement digital workflows to improve collaboration and efficiency in documentation processes.
Conduct regular audits of program documentation to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather accurate and timely data for reporting and documentation purposes.
Person Specification
Qualifications:
Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Education, Business Management, or a related field.
Experience:
2-4 years of experience in program management, strategic planning, or a related role.
Essential Skills:
Self-starter with the ability to take ownership and initiative.
Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, and networking skills.
Tech-savvy, with proficiency in tools like Canva, Google Suite, and other relevant digital platforms.
Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
Data-driven mindset to identify and act on opportunities for improvement.
