Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Bengaluru for a Patent Agent at Photon Legal. The Patent Agent will be responsible for preparing patent applications, conducting patent searches, submitting patentability reports, ensuring compliance with patent law, and working on strategies to secure intellectual property rights for clients. The role involves constant collaboration with clients, inventors, and technical teams to deliver high-quality results. Qualifications Knowledge and experience in Patent Preparation and writing patent applications. Strong understanding of Patent Applications and the process of filing and prosecution. Deep knowledge of Patent Law and its application across different jurisdictions like US, IN and EP. Proficiency in conducting Patentability assessments and generating detailed reports. Expertise in conducting Patent Searches to identify prior art and assess originality of inventions. Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills. Capability to understand complex technology domains such as AI, deep tech and software innovations. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Science, or Law. Candidate must possess a valid patent agent certification in India or a relevant jurisdiction.
