This role involves designing and configuring solutions within our low-code enterprise platform Mi Connect. Mi Connect is designed for the financial services industry, and it is licensed to clients in this sector to manage their business operations. Additionally, MIC Global uses Mi Connect internally to oversee all its insurance programs.
The successful candidate will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, the Quality Assurance (QA) team, and Developers to ensure seamless integration and configuration of business specifications into the Mi Connect platform. You will be responsible for transforming specifications into functional configurations, ready for QA testing, while maintaining a keen eye for detail and ensuring high-quality outputs. Additionally, you will support investigations and assist in troubleshooting and fixing any issues that arise during User Acceptance Testing.

Responsibilities
Configure Solutions: Take business requirements and specifications and configure them into the low-code Mi Connect platform to meet project objectives.
Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analysts, QA teams, and Developers to ensure smooth and efficient solution delivery, ensuring requirements are accurately reflected in the Mi Connect platform.
Configuration Management: Ensure that configured solutions are properly documented and adhere to internal guidelines and best practices.
Testing Support: Ensure configurations are ready for testing by the QA team and assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues identified during testing.
Investigations & Fixes: Support the investigation of any issues or defects found in the platform configuration, working with the development and QA teams to implement fixes promptly.
Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to process improvements and identify opportunities to optimise platform configurations and workflows.
Distributed Team Coordination: Collaborate effectively with distributed teams across different locations, maintaining strong communication and ensuring timely delivery.
Requirements
Experience with Low-Code Platforms: Practical experience in configuring and managing solutions on low-code platforms is preferred (experience in insurance or similar regulated industries is a plus).
Strong Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and quality while configuring complex solutions.
Excellent Communication Skills: Proficient in written and spoken English, with the ability to clearly articulate issues and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving Ability: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve challenges quickly and efficiently.
Fast Learner: Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and business requirements.
Team Collaboration: Proven experience working effectively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, QA teams, and developers, especially in a distributed team environment.
Insurance Industry Knowledge: While not essential, familiarity with the insurance sector's processes, terminology, and challenges is a plus.
