Drafting and reviewing plaints, petitions, applications, replies, affidavits, rejoinders, appeals, and other pleadingsHandling appearances and arguments before Lower Courts, DRT, NCLT, and High Court of BombayManaging filings, registry compliances, service of notices, affidavits of service, and procedural follow-upsCoordinating and briefing senior counsels and external advocates when requiredHandling recovery proceedings under IBC (Section 7 & 9), SARFAESI, and DRT recovery applicationsManaging loan default, enforcement of security interests, restructuring, and settlement-related litigationHandling corporate disputes including shareholder issues, contractual breaches, winding-up petitions, and arbitration-related litigationDrafting and filing company petitions, applications, and cases of oppression and mismanagementConducting legal research, preparing case law analysis, and drafting legal opinionsKeeping updated with amendments, tribunal rules, and procedural changesRegularly updating clients on case progress, hearing updates, and litigation strategyPreparing case status reports, trackers, and hearing summaries for internal and client useAssisting partners in litigation strategy, settlement negotiations, and client advisoryStrong drafting, research, and advocacy skills with ability to manage multiple matters independentlyGood understanding of IBC, SARFAESI, Companies Act, CPC, and banking/finance lawsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills for client managementLL.B. mandatory (LL.M. preferred); Bar Council registration required3–5 years’ PQE in litigation with exposure to banking, corporate, and commercial disputesLocation: Mumbai – regular appearances before Lower Courts, DRT, NCLT, and Bombay High Court
