As the Director of Academics at NatureNurture, you will lead our academic initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of educational excellence across our partner schools. You will oversee curriculum development, teacher training, and instructional leadership, driving our mission to enhance the quality of education in India.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities (KRAs):Academic Leadership:Develop and implement academic strategies aligned with NatureNurture’s vision and goals.Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of K-12 curriculums.Ensure curriculum alignment with national education standards and best practices.Curriculum Development:Oversee the creation and revision of curriculum content, ensuring it is comprehensive, engaging, and effective.Collaborate with subject matter experts to integrate innovative teaching methodologies and technology-enhanced learning.Monitor and evaluate curriculum effectiveness, making data-driven adjustments as needed.Teacher Training and Development:Design and implement comprehensive professional development programs for teachers and instructional leaders.Conduct regular training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance pedagogical skills and content knowledge.Provide ongoing support and mentorship to teachers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.Instructional Leadership:Lead instructional leaders in implementing effective teaching practices and classroom management strategies.Establish and maintain high standards of instructional quality and student engagement.Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers and instructional leaders.Assessment and Evaluation:Develop and implement assessment frameworks to measure student learning outcomes and curriculum effectiveness.Analyze assessment data to identify areas for improvement and inform instructional decisions.Ensure regular and transparent reporting of academic performance to stakeholders.Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:Foster strong relationships with school administrators, teachers, parents, and external partners.Engage with educational communities and networks to stay abreast of trends and innovations.Represent NatureNurture at conferences, workshops, and professional events.Quality Assurance:Ensure all academic programs and initiatives meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain academic integrity and excellence.Conduct regular audits and reviews of academic processes and outcomes.Innovation and Research:Lead research initiatives to explore new educational methodologies, technologies, and best practices.Encourage a culture of innovation and experimentation within the academic team.Stay updated with the latest educational research and incorporate findings into curriculum and training programs.Qualifications:Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field (Doctorate preferred).Extensive experience in academic leadership, curriculum development, and teacher training.Proven track record of driving academic excellence and innovation in K-12 education.Strong understanding of national and international education standards and best practices.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of educators and instructional leaders.Proficiency in using technology and digital tools for education management and delivery.Flexibility to travel as required.Why Join NatureNurture?Impactful Work: Lead academic initiatives that shape the future of education in India.Professional Growth: Access to continuous learning opportunities and professional development programs.Innovative Environment: Work in a dynamic organization that values creativity, collaboration, and innovation.Supportive Culture: Be part of a passionate and dedicated team committed to making a difference in the education sector.
