You will have a direct impact on the customer experience through the design and implementation of new features and functionalities in our product. You'll work as part of a high-energy team scaling across all engineering functions. Pushing high-quality code on React and NodeJS while also balancing the pros/cons of speed/quality will be critical.
As part of your day-to-day work, you will
Spec, build, test, and deliver new features while improving the performance and quality of the product.
Review code of others and provide feedback for them to improve.
Solve complex User Journey problems
Optimize NodeJS/SQL code to ensure that systems remain performant at scale.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to improve our Consumer and Enterprise Products
Document development phases and monitor systems
Must Have's
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Good understanding of Javascript/NodeJS/React.
Comfortable with Async/Await/Promises/Callbacks? Have an understanding of Event Loop? Can you call out coding anti-patterns? Do you consider yourself to be a quick learner? If yes, then we don't care about your experience.
An eye for design detail along with a sense of scaling a feature.
Experience with TDD with NodeJS
Understand complex problems and break them down into smaller tasks.
A strong sense of ownership and integrity is demonstrated through clear communication and collaboration.
