We work daily to provide exceptional service to our people, customers, and our communities.Elliott Davis is seeking a Tax Transaction Advisory Services Manager who will work closely with our onshore and offshore team members to provide tax due diligence and structuring services to middle-market US clients. The Tax Transaction Advisory Services Line offers our clients assistance with buy side tax due diligence, sell-side tax due diligence, and tax structuring. We are growing and this is an exciting opportunity to join our practiceWhat you ‘ll Do:Perform and assist in buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence engagements for private equity, mezzanine funds, and strategic buyersAssist and lead sections of tax due diligence meetings with target managementCommunicate tax due diligence findings confidently in a clear, concise and articulate manner both verbally and in written reportsPerform and assist in a variety of tax structuring engagements, including sell-side and buy-side tax and cash flow modeling, organizational restructuring, IRC Section 382 analyses, IRC Section 1202 analyses, etc.Create and design tailored models and reports based on the specific needs of the engagement.Collaborate and work within teams to ensure timely and efficient product deliveryDevelop and strengthen productive working relationships with client personnelCollaborate with other Elliott Davis team membersWhat You’ll Need:A minimum of three years of experience with tax transaction services is requiredBachelor’s degree from an accredited college/universityCA/ EA/ CPA certification ideal but not mandatory. It will be required for a future, potential promotion to manager.Big 4, National or large regional firm experience preferredExcellent analytical and Microsoft Excel skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAptitude towards business developmentAbility to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong knowledge of U.S. tax and state and local taxAbility to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously (multi-task)Superior client service focusWorking EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is expected to work in our office. Flexibility is granted to employees to work remotely on an as-needed basis.Expected Billable Hours of WorkRegular expected billable hours shall be up to 40 hours per week. However, you may be required to work additional hours and/or days as and when necessary to properly and effectively perform your duties and responsibilities.
