About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cloud Solution Architect with deep expertise in Azure Cloud to design, implement, and manage innovative cloud solutions for our enterprise clients. This role will be pivotal in driving the architecture and execution of cloud migration, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.
As a leader in our cloud solutions team, you will work closely with customers, internal teams, and key stakeholders to craft tailored cloud strategies, ensuring security, scalability, and cost-efficiency. You will leverage your technical acumen to guide clients on best practices, cloud adoption frameworks, and the overall Azure ecosystem.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Cloud Architecture & Design: Lead the design and deployment of robust, secure, and scalable Azure cloud architectures for diverse enterprise workloads.
Cloud Strategy & Roadmaps: Develop comprehensive cloud adoption roadmaps that align with clients' business goals and technical requirements.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership in areas such as cloud migration, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud strategies, ensuring optimal solutions.
Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, translate them into effective cloud solutions, and manage technical discussions.
Security & Compliance: Ensure Azure solutions adhere to industry best practices for security, compliance, identity management, and disaster recovery.
Automation & Optimization: Drive the adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, and Azure DevOps, optimizing operational efficiency.
Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of cloud architects and engineers, providing guidance on Azure best practices, training, and professional development.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and operations, to ensure successful project delivery.
Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging Azure services, trends, and industry developments, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of cloud technology.
Required Skills and Experience:
Extensive Azure Experience : Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing complex Azure-based solutions (e.g., Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Services, Azure Functions).
Cloud Architecture Expertise : Deep knowledge of cloud-native design patterns, including microservices, containerization, and serverless architecture.
Security & Governance : Strong understanding of Azure security controls, compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), identity and access management (IAM), and security policies.
DevOps & Automation : Proficiency in DevOps principles and tools, particularly Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring tools.
Networking & Connectivity : Experience with Azure networking, VPNs, ExpressRoute, VNETs, and hybrid connectivity models.
Certifications : Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certifications are preferred.
Team Leadership : Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and guide technical teams.
Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualification:
Is Education overrated? Yes. We believe so. But there is no way to locate you otherwise. So we might look for at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and preferably an MBA along with
Any current Google/AWS/Azure Cloud Certifications will be an added benefit and extra points if this is Professional Cloud Architect
8+ years of Solutions Architect experience with multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid cloud solutions.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep.
Experience with migrating legacy applications to cloud environments and implementing cloud-native solutions.
Knowledge of containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) and serverless architecture.
Ability to learn and understand emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.
Ability to deliver results, work cross-functionally, engage/influence audiences, and identify expansion engagements.
