Company DescriptionNisha Millet is the first Indian swimmer to qualify for Swimming at the Olympics, She swam the 200 Freestyle at the Sydney Olympics at the age of 18. She has won more than 600 state,National & International medals over a 14 year career & represented India at the world swimming championships (1998 and 2004) & Asian Games(1998). She now runs one of India’s premier swimming academies that teaches at 10 pools across Bangalore & teaches more than 3000 people a year aged between 1 to 75 years. NMSA is one of the few Swim centers to receive the prestigious AUSTSWIM Recommended Swim Centre certification.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Lifeguard at Nisha Millets Swimming Academy, located in Bengaluru. The Lifeguard will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the safety of all swimmers, performing rescues, and providing first aid when necessary. Additionally, the Lifeguard will enforce all safety rules and regulations, inspect pool facilities, co-ordinate with pool maintenance team and maintain cleanliness. Other duties include maintaining records of swimming camps, participating in regular training sessions, and ensuring a safe and positive environment for all participants.QualificationsProficiency in swimming and strong understanding of water safety practicesAbility to perform rescues and administer first aid and CPRKnowledge of safety rules and regulations in a swimming environmentExcellent observational and decision-making skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsPhysical stamina and ability to remain alert for long periodsLifeguard certification from a recognized body such as the Red Cross or equivalentExperience in a similar role is an advantage
